Open the free tool, follow the steps and download your result. No sign-up required.
Before you start
- One PDF no larger than 25 MB.
- The actual PDF page numbers you want, counted from the start of the document.
- For equal chunks, decide how many pages each output file should contain.
Step by step
- Upload the PDF you want to split.
- Pick a mode: extract a page range, or split every N pages.
- Download the single PDF or the ZIP archive.
Common mistakes
- Using the page numbers printed on the page instead of the PDF page positions.
- Entering an invalid range. Use commas and hyphens such as 1-3,5.
After you download
Range mode returns one PDF; equal-chunk mode returns a ZIP with one PDF per chunk. Check the page counts and file names before sharing.
Questions and answers
How do I write a page range?
Use commas and hyphens: 1-3,5 means pages 1, 2, 3 and 5. Leave the field empty to keep every page.
What is inside the ZIP?
One PDF per chunk, named pages-1-10.pdf, pages-11-20.pdf and so on, so the range is visible in the file name.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are; the only change is which pages are included.
